The Sun Sets Over Raasay - Limited Edition Giclée Print - Framed Dark Oak

A series of paintings in gouache and crayon inspired by the west coast of Scotland and, in particular, the coast around Applecross (Coillie Ghillie). Painted after a visit, I referred to basic pencil-line sketches and attempted to use the memory of place rather than too direct a reference to the topography of the area, letting the medium suggest the water and the never-ending sky.

From the original gouache and crayon on paper, a limited edition giclée print, (edition of 100), numbered, titled and signed by the artist David Lyon on the front, printed on Hahnemühle photo rag paper 308gsm, 100% cotton acid-free and approved by Fine Art Trade Guild. Supplied with mount.
